The Greater Nanaimo Cycling Coalition, like it's sister organizations in Victoria and Comox Valley, is offering Urban Cycling Courses. We want you to enjoy bicycling in Nanaimo and make it a fun, safe and regular part of your everyday life. In our adult specific courses, designed for novice to experienced riders, you will gain the skills to do so.

Learn a thorough understanding of traffic rules, helmet fit, route planning, clothing, reflectivity and more. Half the time is spent in the classroom and the other half out on our bikes, putting it it all into practice, with the help with trained instructors. These courses will leave you feeling confident and ready to ride!

The full day course

Bring your lunch, bike and helmet for a fun day of in class instruction followed by on the road riding. These full day courses are offered on Saturdays and Sundays 10 am 2:30 pm. Cost. $35.
